Keeping campus party techfest safe

At Campus Party TechFest USA our number one priority is providing a healthy, safe, and fun event for our Campuseros, sponsors, speakers, and team members. We are working very closely with our hospitality and convention partners, including suppliers, contractors, and local and state government authorities to ensure our event is safe for all participants.


Please know that we will continue to monitor and implement health & safety guidelines that meet or exceed those set forth by local and fedral health authorities. At  this time, we’re currently implementing the protocols and procedures found below, and will continue to update these guidelines as they are established.  

CAMPUS PARTY TECHFEST SAFETY GUIDE


ENHANCED CLEANING 
The TCF Center has implemented an enhanced, regularly scheduled cleaning program using the cleaning protocols established by ASM Global’s Venue Shield™. All public space and facilities used by Campus Party TechFest USA will frequently undergo this cleaning process prior to and during the event. 


FREQUENT SANITIZATION  
Hand sanitizer stations will be strategically places throughout the TCF Center, at all entry ways, and at all exits.
Additionally, all high-touch surfaces will be frequently sanitized throughout the duration of the event. 


FACE COVERINGS 
All participants will be asked to wear a face mask upon entry, and masks will be provided to those who do not have one. Furthermore, items such as gloves and eye screens will be used by participants and staff as necessary. 


LIMITED PHYSICAL CONTACT
  • Campus Party TechFest will welcome a reduced number of participants to remain in line with the local and venue capacity guidelines. 
  • Participants will be asked to keep a minimum of six (6) feet apart, and there will be floor decals to guide distancing restrictions. 
  • Directional signage will be present throughout the event space to regulate safe traffic patterns. 
  • Aisles in The Arena, Experience Hall, and Tech Village will be a minimum of ten (10) feet.  
  • Sponsors & exhibitors will be strongly encouraged to limit the exchange of physical materials. 

PRE-EVENT SCREENING 
  • Temperature checks will be required and conducted prior to entering the event space.  
  • All participants at Campus Party TechFest USA will be required to complete a Health & Safety waiver/questionnaire during the ticket purchase process. Additional Health & Safety waivers may be required onsite prior to entry or picking up tickets. 


ADDITIONAL MEASURES 

  • Campus Party TechFest has implemented a no-touch system to facilitate safe ticketing & ticket pick-up.
  • Food & beverage will be available for purchase in individual portions & only permitted to be consumers in designated areas, adhering to the highest safety standards. 
  • EMT’s & First-Aid professionals will be onsite from move-in to move-out.
